At DMS Montessori Preschool and Daycare Inc, your child will learn through individualized programs based on age and according to their personal development.  Areas of focus for the pre-CASA program include fostering independence and co-operation, confidence and self-esteem, attentiveness, learning through exploration, use of pre-Casa level Montessori activities, to name just a few.  Academic areas for the CASA program include circle time, music and movement, grace and courtesy, as well as avenues of practical life, sensorial, culture, math and language.  French is also included in the curriculum. Your child will gain relevant information and knowledge about their environment and our World.  Parents are often shocked that their child is able to learn so much and know about so much at their age!

DMS Montessori Preschool and Daycare Inc. is classified as a childcare/daycare facility according to the Ministry of Education and the CCEYA due to servicing children under the age of 6 years old.  We are a licensed facility that follows all of the Government of Ontario rules pertaining to operating a childcare center. 

DMS Montessori specializes in teaching the Montessori method of education and we live the philosophy each and every day.  We are also privately owned and because we are a school and not a typical daycare within our walls, we provide an elevated educational program that taps into the fullest potential of your child.   

We offer your child private Montessori education instead of going to Kindergarten in the mainstream school system.  Since receiving a complete Montessori educational cycle means staying for at least three complete years, we ensure that our authenticity provides you with exactly what you will expect out of this proven educational system.  Therefore, we highly recommend giving your child the best possible start to school that follows by keeping them with us during their Kindie years.  You won't regret it!

*We are a 12 month program with intake in August for September start or in February for March start only or if space allows throughout the year on a case-by-case basis.  We teach Montessori programming in all we do, through the entire year, allowing for no breaks in program, smooth transitions into the new classroom or school year, and most importantly, no re-learning of routines and normalization each new school year after a long two month gap in programming.  At the early childhood level, children need routine and consistency. 

*For the best interest of the child, for the reasons stated above and for the child to receive the optimal Montessori educational experience, we offer full time enrollment only. 

*Tuition is standard and paid monthly; all fees will be discussed upon enrollment.

*There are two reporting periods per school year:  February end and August end.
